About me

I was born on Oktober 7th 1987 as Christian Schartner, and i grew up in my parents business "Hotel Schartner. Quite early i was interested in Photography, Technology and Art.

After primary and secondary school, i attended a tourism vocational school for three years. I was only 16 when i got my first jobs for websites. Those were customers of Hotels and Appartements in the region. But i started to get more and more into Photography. An own business was already required which was founded by my father. With 16 years i was the youngest businessman in my town!

Past the vocational tourism school i attended another 3-year business course at a Ski-Business School Schladming. This school offered me holidays in Winter, and opened me the opportunity to spend more time on my work.

I graduated in 2008, absolved my 9-month civil service at a care house for handicapped people in Radstadt. In 2009 i traveled around the world: I started for one month in Australia, later to Italy, Sweden, Norway, Finland, New-Zealand, Bali, Singapore, Dubai and once again to Australia.

Back home again i organized an exhibition. I showed 45 of my best pictures on Canvas. The exhibition was called "Art & Photo 3".

My plans for 2010?
Some Countries and Landscapes are still in my head, so my passion for traveling is still not over. Stay tuned for more reports and photographs!

Milestones

2001: Seccond on the Webdesign-Award Austria.
2003: Establishment of my company.
2008: Graduation.

I work with cameras and lenses from Nikon.
I'm a MacUser - and i work since 2002 on Apple.
My Car: Mini Cooper in red/black.
Software: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
Favourite meal: All of italian food.
Facourite drink: Beer (Austrian ones...), Wine, Juice.
Music: Electro, Techno, Minimal, House, Electronic.
Hobbies: Skiing, Swimming, Nature, Clubs and Party.
